Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to drive the reliability agenda from concept to field across the product lifecycle. You will partner with cross-functional engineers, influence technical boards, and translate reliability data into actionable improvements that reduce risk and meet contracts.

The role includes leading FMECA, growth plans, design reviews, and participation in CAB/FRB to drive root cause resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM field with 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience with reliability predictions and analyses.
• Experience with reliability FRACAS and statistical data mining.
• Experience with the FMECA process.
• Ability to manage subcontractors in the Reliability field of expertise.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; able to present to large groups.
• Must be a US Citizen or able to obtain a secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability agenda across the entire product lifecycle.
• Lead FMECA and produce reliability block diagrams and quantitative predictions.
• Create and track reliability growth plans; perform growth analysis.
• Support design reviews, test events, and configuration control processes.
• Participate in CAB and FRB to drive root cause resolution.
• Analyze FRACAS trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop mathematical models to flag high risk units and processes.
• Define and implement SPC procedures and test methods.
