Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer for its Intelligence Systems. Based in Reston, VA, you will champion reliability from concept through production, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure robust designs and data-driven improvements across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with safety-critical hardware & software in defense/aerospace.
• Expertise in reliability analysis techniques (FMEA/FMECA, Weibull, FTA).
• Ability to lead cross-functional reliability initiatives from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Review system block diagrams, interface documents, and schematics for compliance and redundancy.
• Lead FMEA and Fault Tree Analysis with cross-functional teams to implement design improvements.
• Perform predictive reliability analysis using MIL-HDBK-217Plus and MIL standards.
• Develop and execute Qualification and Validation Test plans (environmental, life/limit, accelerated).
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to optimize assembly, integration, and testing processes.
• Develop Maintainability prediction models per MIL-HDBK-472 and support maintenance planning.
• Conduct Weibull analysis on qualification, production, and field data to identify trends.
• Lead root-cause investigations and CAPA closures for design or process issues.
• Support Development Milestone Reviews with clear entry/exit criteria for production readiness.
• Develop standardized reliability processes and infrastructure across design, manufacturing, and deployment.
