Job summary

The role focuses on predictive analysis, qualification testing, and failure investigations, with an emphasis on MIL-standard practices and cross-functional CAPA execution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of reliability or related engineering experience.
• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with safety-critical hardware/software in defense/aerospace.
• Expertise in reliability analysis techniques including FMEA/FMECA and Fault Tree Analysis.
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review system block diagrams and interface control documents for reliability and redundancy.
• Lead FMEA/FTA efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design improvements.
• Perform predictive reliability analysis and calculate MTTF/MTBF using MIL-type requirements.
• Develop and execute qualification and validation test plans to ensure production readiness.
• Lead root-cause investigations and CAPA closures with manufacturing and field teams.
• Support milestone reviews and help transition designs from development to high-rate production.
