Qualifications

• 5+ years as Reliability/Design/Test Engineer
• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience with safety-critical hardware/software in defense/aerospace
• Experience with MIL-STD-810, MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-516C, MIL-STD-1629
• Experience establishing a Reliability framework for a product, including production testing, field testing, data acquisition and analysis
• Expertise in reliability techniques: FMEA/FMECA, predictive modeling, Weibull analysis, and FTA
• Experience generating qualification testing requirements and executing tests
• Failure investigation/analysis experience with CAPA closure
• Design Review Experience (PDR, CDR, MRR) and strong presentation skills
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Review system diagrams and schematics for compliance and redundancy
• Lead FMEA and FTA with cross-functional teams
• Perform predictive reliability analysis using MIL standards
• Develop and execute qualification and validation test plans with Test Engineering
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to improve build reliability
• Develop Maintainability prediction models and support maintenance planning
• Perform Weibull analysis on data from campaigns, tests, and fielded assets
• Lead failure investigations and CAPA closure
• Support Development Milestone Reviews with entry/exit criteria
• Develop standardized reliability processes and tools
