Anduril Industries is seeking a Reliability Engineer to guide the design and production of robust, safety-critical hardware and software for defense systems. The role spans from early concept to production, collaborating with mechanical, electrical and software teams to ensure reliability and maintainability.

Candidates should bring deep knowledge of reliability methods and experience in both design and production environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience in Reliability/Design/Test engineering
• Experience with safety-critical hardware & software in defense or aerospace
• Experience with MIL-STD-810, MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-516C, MIL-STD-1629
• Experience setting up a Reliability Engineering framework for production testing and field testing
• Expertise in FMEA/FMECA, predictive modeling, Weibull analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis
• Experience generating qualification requirements and test executions
• Proven track record in failure investigations and CAPA closure
• Design Review experience (PDR, CDR, MRR) and strong presentation skills
• Eligibility for U.S. Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Review system block diagrams, interfaces, and schematics for compliance and redundancy
• Lead FMEA and FTA with cross-functional teams to improve design
• Perform predictive reliability analysis using MIL-STD-based data
• Develop and execute qualification and validation test plans
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to optimize processes
• Develop Maintainability prediction models and maintenance plans
• Perform Weibull analysis to predict failures and trends
• Lead root-cause investigations and CAPA closures
• Support milestone reviews and transition designs to production
• Develop standardized reliability processes and tools
