Job summary

Maximus, a trusted federal partner, seeks an experienced Release Manager/Release Train Engineer to coordinate enterprise-wide releases across multiple teams and domains. You will drive PI planning, dependency management, and governance, aligning ITIL processes with SAFe practices.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, ensure smooth release readiness, and maintain dashboards to monitor risks, performance, and SLA adherence in a federal program setting.

Qualifications

Experience as Release Manager or Release Train Engineer in enterprise IT environments.
Strong knowledge of ITIL-based change and release management.
Experience with SAFe, PI planning, and cross-team coordination.
Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and scheduling across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Serve as enterprise Release Manager coordinating releases across teams and domains.
Lead release planning, sequencing, and dependency management.
Coordinate with Configuration Change Manager and ensure governance.
Facilitate PI planning with Product Owners and cross-functional teams.
Align release schedules with stakeholders and communicate outages and windows.
Track progress using dashboards and Agile/SAFe metrics.
Support integration of Agile/SAFe practices across teams.
Ensure release documentation and audit artifacts are complete.
