Job summary

Maximus is seeking a seasoned Release Manager to coordinate enterprise releases across multiple teams and domains. You will drive planning, sequencing, and governance aligned to agency processes and ITIL standards.

The role requires 8+ years in ITSM or release delivery, experience with SAFe, and strong cross-functional collaboration. A Public Trust or DHS suitability is preferred, and the position may require Baton Rouge-area work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field.
• 8+ years in ITSM, release management, or Agile program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and execute enterprise releases across multiple teams.
• Lead release planning, sequencing, and dependency management.
• Collaborate with Change Manager to follow agency processes and IT lifecycle standards.
• Facilitate PI planning with Product Owners and cross-functional teams.
• Communicate release readiness, outages, and deployment windows to stakeholders.
• Manage cross-team dependencies and resolve conflicts to maintain SLA.
• Align releases with incident management and disaster recovery teams.
• Track progress with dashboards and Agile/SAFe metrics.
• Support integration of Agile and SAFe practices in release execution.
• Maintain release documentation and audit artifacts.
