Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior Relativity Senior Systems Administrator to support and enhance our government IT and eDiscovery environments across New York, Albany, and remote/hybrid sites. The role focuses on ALS design, infrastructure maintenance, and secure external access for stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in litigation-support tech, strong Relativity/SQL Server experience, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, contributing to a complex, multi-OS

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/related field.
• Five+ years hands-on experience implementing systems (UNIX, Windows, storage, networks).
• At least five years in litigation-support apps (Relativity, iPro, Concordance, Trial Director, etc.).
• Experience designing, procuring equipment/software, installing and integrating in required environments.
• Experience with large, complex systems and diverse operating systems and functions.
• At least one year setting up large-scale database management applications.
• Storage planning, performance capacity planning, and business process analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of government IT environments and security requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain a favorable Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ALS software solutions using COTS tools such as Relativity, iPro, CaseMap, etc.
• Maintain ALS infrastructure (storage, compute, network) on-prem and in AWS.
• Manage external access and IAM for external stakeholders (experts, US Attorneys, IRS collaborators).
• Perform system maintenance: backups, restores, software updates, tuning, monitoring.
• Produce and update system diagrams, admin guides, and end-user docs (semi-annually).
• Provide weekly reports on system health, performance, and project status.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to support ALS applications and infrastructure.
