Provident Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager III – Middle Market Lending to originate, structure, and manage complex credit relationships with private middle-market clients (revenues $100M–$1B). You will drive business development, serve as trusted advisor, and cross-sell treasury, wealth, and other commercial products.

The role demands deep credit acumen, rigorous financial analysis, and leadership to mentor junior staff, while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across a diverse client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive commercial lending experience.
• Strong credit acumen and risk management skills.
• Proven ability to originate and grow middle-market lending relationships.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Originate new middle-market lending relationships and cross-sell bank products.
• Structure and evaluate complex commercial credits and loans.
• Prepare loan presentations with financial analysis and risk evaluation.
• Manage loan portfolio quality and compliance with policy and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Credit, Treasury, Operations, and Risk teams.
• Mentor junior relationship managers and credit staff.
