Job summary

KeyBank seeks a Senior Relationship Manager in Community Development Lending & Investing to originate and manage LIHTC and NMTC investments. You will develop and maintain networks with nonprofit organizations, CDFIs, housing developers, and public sector partners to grow the bank's affordable housing platform.

The role requires strong deal structuring, cross-selling of financial products, and collaboration with internal partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years LIHTC experience and deal origination.
• Ability to structure and negotiate terms for affordable housing financing.
• Experience with community development lending programs (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD).
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage a portfolio of community development loans and equity investments.
• Build and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations, CDFIs, housing developers and public sector partners.
• Develop regional marketing strategies and client plans.
• Cross-sell bank products and negotiate financially viable deals.
• Collaborate with credit, legal, CRA and risk teams for deal structuring.
• Represent the bank at events and stakeholder meetings to enhance visibility.
