Job summary

KeyBank is actively seeking an experienced Relationship Manager for the Community Development Lending & Investment group. The role centers on originating affordable housing financing and coordinating a broad array of banking solutions for nonprofit and for-profit developers within an assigned territory.

The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end process, from client engagement to closing, while partnering with credit officers and a specialized sales team to deliver tailored enterprise-wide

Qualifications

• Experience in low income / affordable housing lending and investment industry or commercial real estate lending.
• Proven ability to drive business development individually and in a team.
• Strong understanding of multifamily lending, LIHTC investments, tax-exempt bonds and related programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with high profile clients and prospects in affordable housing.
• Originates affordable housing capital transactions with existing and new clients.
• Negotiate and structure transactions to align with KeyBank risk profiles.
• Cross-sell enterprise-wide financial solutions and bank products to clients.
• Collaborate with a sales team to tailor client solutions.
• Coordinate due diligence, underwriting and closing processes with clients and partners.
