Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Senior Consumer Relationship Banker to meet with customers and prospects, assessing financial needs and offering tailored products and guidance. Focus is on acquiring and deepening relationships with Preferred Banking Households through complex wealth and banking solutions.

The role emphasizes strong communication, sales acumen, and collaboration with branch teams, with overtime eligibility and compliance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of banking, sales, and/or customer service experience.
• Ability to handle cash and cash transactions.
• Strong communication skills in person, phone, and electronic channels.
• Proficient computer use including typing and monitoring.
• Willingness to work Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 20 pounds.
• Life Insurance license must be obtained within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Achieves branch targets by identifying customer needs and guiding Regions’ solutions.
• Makes outbound calls to expand relationships with Preferred Banking households.
• Partners with Branch Team to manage a portfolio of Preferred Banking Households.
• Educates customers on Regions’ products and services including loans, deposits, annuities, and life insurance.
• Advises on digital banking options to enhance customer experience.
• Delivers consistent, optimal customer service and processes transactions as needed.
• Owns and resolves customer issues and refers to experts when needed.
• Supports team development as a subject matter expert for junior bankers.
