Truist is hiring for a Regular position focused on delivering industry-leading client service both in person and over the phone. The role emphasizes developing and expanding client relationships while offering financial solutions and referrals to drive growth.

The position may involve cross-training to perform Teller duties and requires strong communication, relationship-building, and the ability to multi-task under time constraints. Weekend hours and travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration and applicable NMLS background check which includes meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, credit fitness and criminal background standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides industry leading client service in person and by phone, expanding existing relationships.
• Cross trained to perform teller duties as needed.
• Contributes to meeting client service and sales targets by offering products and services.
• Conducts consultative conversations and refers complex needs to internal specialists.
• Advocates on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Ensures compliance with internal controls and risk management policies.
• Engages clients with courteous conversations during transactions to identify needs.
