Job summary

TD Bank in Springfield, Virginia is seeking a Retail Banker II to serve as a customer liaison, delivering the TD Brand promise through financial expertise and consultative advice in advising Customers regarding banking solutions/needs.

This role requires broad product knowledge across personal and business banking, strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to schedule and prioritize work in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 2 year degree preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity.
• Teller experience (Preferred).
• Cross trained to take customer transactions upon hire.
• Notary License (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Acts as subject matter expert in the Store for all TD products, services, policies, and procedures related to personal and business banking.
• Makes product recommendations based on customer needs and highlights features/benefits.
• Establishes and nurtures customer relationships with product knowledge and attentive listening.
• Utilizes Customer Relationship Management tools to identify solutions and lead-focused outbound sales activities.
• Resolves customer problems and escalates when necessary; explains information clearly within the team.
• Delivers a Legendary Customer experience through service and advice to TD Customers.
• Engages customers about loan products and facilitates the application intake.
• Maintains active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System).
