Busey Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker II to deepen customer relationships and drive sales within our Champaign branch. You will combine teller and personal banking duties, handling complex transactions and guiding customers through financial products and services.

The role emphasizes compliance, risk awareness, and teamwork, with opportunities to mentor newer staff and contribute to branch success in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; 2 years of banking experience with lending responsibilities.
• 1 year of training or equivalent mentorship/experience required.
• SAFE Act registration for mortgage licensing required if lending.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to build lasting relationships.
• Actively identify and promote bank products and services.
• Open and manage personal and business accounts with compliance.
• Process loan applications and support loan officers.
• Balance cash drawer and handle transactions accurately.
• Monitor compliance and privacy of customer data.
• Assist with branch operations and mentoring staff.
