American Family Insurance seeks a senior professional to lead ceded reinsurance placements across the enterprise. You will coordinate submissions, evaluate structures, and provide expert recommendations to optimize risk transfer.

You will partner with brokers, reinsurers, and internal teams to analyze exposure, premiums, and terms, shaping enterprise reinsurance strategy. A strong background in underwriting and actuarial analysis is required.

Formación

• Experience providing customer-driven solutions in reinsurance.
• Experience analyzing complex financial statements, hazards, coverage, losses, pricing terms.
• Experience presenting treaty findings to internal and external contacts.
• Experience managing large, complex projects.
• Experience working with reinsurance brokers and ceding insurance companies.
• Reinsurance underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of global reinsurance industry, regulatory constraints and market practices.
• Knowledge of actuarial techniques in analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex ceded reinsurance placements (treaty and facultative).
• Coordinate data collection, validation, testing, and reconciliation of underwriting submission data.
• Develop comprehensive reinsurance underwriting submissions communicating portfolio characteristics and strategy.
• Analyze proposals, pricing, terms, and alternatives for leadership recommendations.
• Collaborate with catastrophe modeling, actuarial, finance, underwriting and business teams on risk assessment.
• Engage with brokers/reinsurers through submission development, market discussions, and placement execution.
• Support enterprise reinsurance strategy development including attachment points and limits.
• Maintain knowledge of contract terms to ensure alignment with risk transfer objectives.
