Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a financial reimbursement specialist to prepare and review Medicare/Medicaid settlements, cost reports and surveys across multiple facilities and centralized offices. The role requires strong data analysis, reconciliation, and collaboration with Finance, Revenue Cycle and Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis and reconciling financial data.
• Strong computer skills with spreadsheets, databases and word processing.
• Experience with third-party financial accounting and reimbursement processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and non-routine analysis tasks and identifies alternatives.
• Reconciles third-party G/L accounts and calculates contractual allowances.
• Prepares Medicare/Medicaid settlements and policy reserve calculations.
• Prepares cost reports, reviews audit adjustments and supports appeals.
• Mentors and trains teammates in reimbursement functions.
• Manages project scope, deadlines and deliverables for stakeholders.
