BKF Engineers, Inc. seeks a Senior Regulatory Specialist and Project Manager to lead environmental permitting and regulatory compliance for complex land development projects.

This hybrid role offers remote work with occasional office time in California and requires guiding CEQA/NEPA analyses, securing permits, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science from an accredited college or university.
• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience overseeing cultural resource professionals.
• Strong understanding of federal and state environmental regulations.
• Ability to manage teams and communicate with clients.
• Valid California Class C driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with environmental permitting and regulatory analyses.
• Participate in business development and secure contracts.
• Support other BKF divisions on multi-disciplinary pursuits.
• Ensure timely deliverables and budgets are managed.
• Mentor project biologists or wetland delineation experts if qualified.
