BKF Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Regulatory Specialist and Project Manager to support our team of biologists, CEQA/NEPA practitioners, engineers, and planners.

The role offers a remote option, with hybrid opportunities between a California office and home. The ideal candidate will lead permitting efforts, regulatory compliance, and senior project management across diverse environmental projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science from an accredited college.
• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in progressive leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.
• Ability to manage teams and communicate with clients.
• Valid California Class C driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with environmental permitting and related analyses.
• Participate in business development and secure contracts.
• Support BKF divisions on multi-disciplinary pursuits.
• Ensure timely deliverables, updates to partners and clients, and budget management.
• Optional: serve as project biologist or wetland delineation expert.
