Job summary

BKF Engineers seeks an Environmental Project Manager to lead CEQA/NEPA projects and expand BKF’s environmental planning services throughout California. The role will build a project portfolio and grow a staff of qualified environmental professionals.

The position offers remote or hybrid work arrangements, with in-office availability as needed, and opportunities to collaborate with leadership to grow market share while delivering high-quality environmental documents and support across land

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• AICP certification desirable.
• Minimum 10 years leading planning and environmental professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and expand BKF’s Environmental Planning practice in California.
• Oversee CEQA/NEPA document preparation and related studies.
• Develop staff, mentor teams, and drive business development.
• Coordinate multi-agency planning efforts and client relations.
