BKF Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Regulatory Specialist and Project Manager to lead a growing team of biologists, CEQA/NEPA practitioners, engineers, and planners. The role offers remote or hybrid work, with office time in California as needed.

The ideal candidate should manage environmental permitting, project budgets, and client communications across multiple concurrent projects, while supporting business development and cross‑divisional collaboration.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in environmental science
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in progressive leadership roles with oversight of cultural resource professionals
• Strong understanding of federal and state environmental regulations and laws
• A high-energy, passionate, results-oriented team player and resourceful leader
• Ability to effectively manage teams and communicate with clients
• Valid California Class C driver's license and an acceptable driver's record are required

Mansioni

• Support environmental permitting for Incidental Take, HCP drafting, Clean Water Act permits, USACE 408, and state coastal permits.
• Assist in business development and contract securing.
• Support BKF divisions on multi-disciplinary pursuits.
• Ensure timely deliverables, manage budgets and client communications.
• Potentially serve as project biologist or wetland delineation expert.
