Qualifications

• Experience supporting regulatory compliance, licensing, or permitting programs in a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment.
• Ability to build partnerships and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, government agencies, and senior leadership.
• Experience interpreting federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry requirements.
• Proven project management skills to manage multiple priorities and mitigate risks.
• Experience identifying process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adopt emerging technologies and digital solutions to improve team efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Obtain new licenses for US business operations: research license requirements, draft license applications, manage payments, submit to agency for processing, resolve issues as they arise, provide licenses to facilities, and document steps in system.
• Complete processes according to standard procedures, provide guidance on developing additional procedures, identify opportunities for efficiency and automation, and utilize data to determine risk and priorities.
• Communicate with agencies, internal stakeholders, and business on license status.
• Monitor licensing progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies to minimize impacts to project timelines.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective collaboration and successful project outcomes.
