Job summary

Walmart in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Senior Manager for Business Analysis & Insights to lead analytics-driven strategy within Spark Earnings Excellence. You will own earnings-related processes, drive regulatory compliance, and partner with Tax, Legal, Operations, Product, and Engineering to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include defining audit-ready BRDs/PRDs, managing end-to-end initiatives for 1099 reporting and withholding, and ensuring KPIs guide continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering business analysis and insights in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
• Ability to evaluate financial, tax, and operational performance and propose compliant, data-backed solutions.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives across Legal, Tax, Operations, and Technology.
• Experience translating statutory and regulatory requirements into business and system needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Tax, Legal, Operations, Product, and Engineering to evaluate and improve end-to-end earnings and withholding processes.
• Lead current-state and future-state assessments focused on 1099 reporting, statutory withholding, and regulatory earnings impacts.
• Own the business intake, prioritization, delivery, and stabilization of systems and automation supporting earnings compliance.
• Define clear, audit-ready business requirements (BRDs/PRDs), including controls, data needs, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and prioritize work based on regulatory urgency, compliance risk, business value, and delivery capacity.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant-by-design, and supported by measurable KPIs.
