Qualifications

  • Requires highly specialized knowledge and experience in the regulation of Commission-jurisdictional utilities, including depreciation, plant in service, accounting, finance, auditing, economics, engineering, and related regulatory disciplines.
  • Bachelor's degree plus seven years in utility regulation and Certified Depreciation Professional.
  • Master's degree plus five years in progressively responsible regulatory work and Certified Depreciation Professional.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs regulatory depreciation and related activities for Commission-jurisdictional utilities.
  • Develops recommendations on depreciation, accounting, finance, economics, policy, and related proceedings.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and direction to staff; sets priorities and evaluates performance.
  • Directs or participates in case processing, rate proceedings, and regulatory investigations.
  • Presents testimony before the Commission and provides technical and policy advice to Division leadership.
