Alabama Power Company seeks a Regulatory Strategy & Planning leader to drive regulatory positioning, analytics, and education for regulators and staff. You will shape customer rate strategies, engage with the APSC, and guide cross-functional teams in strategic initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership, project management, and delivering executive-ready materials to support long-term business priorities and regulatory outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Advanced degree, professional certification, or equivalent experience in business, analytics, finance, regulation, or public policy is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead new regulatory implementation strategy and execution.
• Lead regulatory strategy and analytics for industry research.
• Lead work direction of analysts and project managers, and cross-functional project teams.
• Responsible for providing education and training of core business with regulators and staff.
• Manage performance metrics review and external stakeholder engagement.
• Lead development of regulatory positioning and strategic messaging.
• Support customer rate strategy and regulatory policy development.
