Job summary

Ascensus in Chicago is seeking a Regional Vice President to drive retirement plan sales through Financial Professionals, TPAs, RIAs, and DC I/O Firms. You will promote product options and alliance partners’ offerings, advise during prospecting, and join sales calls as needed.

You’ll build strong relationships, manage a 60+ meeting monthly target, stay current on ERISA, plan design, and industry trends, and coordinate internal sales to maximize coverage.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in the retirement plan industry or 3-5 years in a wholesaling role in the retirement plan industry
• Proven successful sales experience of full service defined contribution recordkeeping and administrative services
• Over-night travel is required
• Superior time management skills required
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, unsupervised environment
• Series 6 and 63 (or the ability to obtain within six months of employment)

Responsibilities

• Promote product options and alliance partners’ offerings to Financial Professionals
• Advise and assist Financial Professionals during prospecting
• Attend sales calls as requested
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with Financial Professionals to earn retirement plan business
• Coordinate wholesaling efforts with Internal Sales Coordinators to maximize coverage
• Remain current on industry trends, product knowledge, and complete management reports
• Conduct a minimum of sixty meetings per month with Financial Professionals and document in CRMMaintain a Top 150 list
• Discuss Fiduciary 3(21) Solutions and operating expenses of investment products with Financial Professionals and Employers
