Job summary

Transamerica Corporation in the United States is seeking a Regional Vice President to drive qualified retirement plan sales through financial intermediaries in an assigned territory. You will lead outreach to banks, wire houses, regional broker-dealers, and employee benefit firms.

The role requires at least three years of retirement plan sales experience, FINRA Series 6 & 63, Life & Health license, and strong presentation and relationship-building skills; extensive travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Three years of sales experience in the retirement plan industry.
• FINRA Series 6 & 63 license required; Life & Health license preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, public speaking and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new clients within assigned territory to meet sales goals.
• Develop a network of advisors, consultants, and other intermediaries in retirement.
• Develop plan sponsor relationships through direct meetings with key contacts.
• Participate in proactive marketing campaigns and manage a territory of prospects.
