Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a senior Process Engineering Leader for its Global Polymers team in the United States. This role drives strategic process improvements across safety, cost, productivity, quality and service, while managing CAPEX/non-CAPEX projects and scale-up for new formulations.

You will lead and develop a regional team of process engineers and collaborate with manufacturing plants, R&D and technical groups to implement breakthrough process technologies and standardized

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 15+ years progressive experience in technical, process engineering, and/or operations management.
• Knowledge of reactive chemistry including resin manufacturing.
• Experience with P&L and corporate financial acumen.
• Proficiency in MS Office to analyze data and trends.
• Experience in coating or chemical processing.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement/lean tools (Six Sigma, 5S, Lean Manufacturing).
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to develop teams across sites.

• Lead strategic process excellence initiatives across Global Polymers.
• Collaborate with plants and technical teams to improve safety, cost, productivity and quality.
• Manage CAPEX and non-CAPEX projects and scale-up processes.
• Drive process technology transformation and innovation.
• Develop and mentor process engineers and technical staff.
