Job summary

The Plant Engineering Manager at Sherwin-Williams in California leads safety, productivity, sustainability and efficiency of the facility through improved engineering designs, capital evaluations and sourcing. You will drive cost reductions in manufacturing and oversee a motivated team.

You will ensure OSHA and environmental compliance, develop capital plans, manage maintenance and engineering budgets, and align with Reliability Excellence and Six Sigma programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience leading engineering, maintenance or sustainability projects.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, maintenance and sustainability functions for the plant.
• Oversee maintenance service and repair of equipment.
• Provide engineering support for production facilities expansion and upgrades.
• Manage budgets for Maintenance and Engineering, reduce costs and downtime.
