Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a high-impact leader to head a global process excellence team for polymers, driving improvements in safety, cost, productivity, quality and service. The role spans CAPEX management, scale-up, and commercialization support, with responsibility for developing engineers and sharing best practices regionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in technical, process engineering and/or operations management.
• Knowledge of reactive chemistry including resin manufacturing.
• Experience managing P&L and corporate financial acumen.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis.
• Experience in coating or chemical processing.
• Experience implementing Lean tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
• Ability to work across sites and functions for standardization.
• Process Safety Management experience.
• CAPEX project experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering and improvement initiatives across manufacturing sites.
• Identify value creation opportunities in operations and manage project pipeline.
• Oversee CAPEX and non-CAPEX projects and scale-up activities.
• Collaborate with R&D and technical teams on new formulation development.
• Ensure process safety management and coating manufacturing expertise.
• Define SOPs and processes to meet product specs.
