Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Construction Manager within Global Engineering Services (GES) NA Design & Construction to lead autonomous end-to-end delivery of complex construction projects, including new builds, retrofits, and expansions for logistics facilities.

You will act as Amazon's senior owner's representative, guiding design, procurement, and contractor performance with minimal supervision. You will travel ~60% regionally and, when not traveling, work from a corporate office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering required.
• 7+ years of PM experience spanning design to handover.
• Proficient with AutoCAD/BIM and scheduling tools (Primavera, MS Project).
• Willingness to travel up to 60% and relocate if needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project management for complex construction initiatives.
• Serve as Amazon's senior owner's representative coordinating design, construction, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop strategies and allocate resources to execute projects on plan.
• Monitor performance, risks, and implement corrective actions across projects.
• Lead external partner negotiations and contract management.
