Job summary

Banc of California is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead the identification and development of new commercial banking business in the middle market segment. You will actively engage prospects, manage relationships with business owners, advisors, and COIs, and present credit solutions aligned with the bank’s policies.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers and Underwriters to structure credits, grow deposits and fee income, and drive revenue while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (business-related preferred).
• 10+ years of financial services experience with at least 5 years in B2B consultative sales.
• Successful completion of bank credit training.
• Proven ability to build relationships and attain sales goals.
• Previous experience with commercial banking loan underwriting, credit origination or processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originate new commercial banking business for middle market clients.
• Prospect and develop new client relationships with business owners and COIs.
• Source and prequalify lending opportunities; present credit solutions.
• Cross-sell treasury management, foreign exchange, merchant services and card products.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Underwriters to structure credits and drive deposits/fee income.
