Banc of California, Inc. is seeking a senior commercial banking professional to lead new business development for mid-market clients and to build enduring relationships with company owners and influential partners.

You will drive credit and deposit opportunities while cross-selling treasury and other financial solutions. The role emphasizes sourcing high-quality opportunities, applying credit know-how, and collaborating with relationship managers to deliver tailored banking services that meet

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field required or preferred.
Ten or more years in financial services, incl. 5+ years in B2B consultative sales.
Bank credit training completed.
Proven success in building relationships and meeting sales goals.
Experience with commercial banking loan underwriting, credit origination or processing preferred.

Responsibilities

Originate new business credit and deposit relationships for mid-market clients.
Prospect and develop relationships with businesses, owners, and COIs.
Source and prequalify lending opportunities; present approved credit solutions to prospects.
Prequalify deposit opportunities; assemble new account proposals with partners.
Identify and pursue fee income opportunities including treasury management, FX, merchant services, and corporate/card products.
Grow revenue through ongoing direct prospecting and a strong sales pipeline.
Collaborate with other bank lines to refer opportunities and provide consultative financial advice.
