Job summary
Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a Regional Solutions Sales Application Engineer IV to lead strategic HVAC solutions selling across the South Carolina region. You will mentor the sales force, develop plans to meet regional quotas, and partner with engineering teams to deliver energy-efficient turnkey projects.
This remote role requires up to 75% travel, strong knowledge of building automation, and a proven ability to close complex deals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- 6–8 years in commercial HVAC, energy, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, contracting, and customized solution selling.
- Willingness to travel up to 75%.
Responsibilities
- Coach and train sales force on consultative selling for service, turnkey, and energy projects.
- Develop strategic plans to meet regional sales quotas with timelines and resources.
- Target and secure prospects for energy-efficient HVAC turnkey installations.
- Analyze operating costs and build financial justifications for opportunities.
- Coordinate with project management to ensure customer satisfaction.
