Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum eight (8) years of full-time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably in educational facilities or public works projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite.
Required Education:
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
- OR graduation with a bachelor's degree in any field plus an additional two (2) years of relevant experience to compensate for the education requirement.
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with project teams and staff.
- Understanding of cost engineering, scheduling, and schedule forensics principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Senior Construction Manager for Scheduling and Estimating, providing updates and reports for upper management.
- Supervise Project Schedulers to ensure project timelines are met, coordinating with project staff and contractors.
- Develop and maintain program schedules, identifying relationships, milestones, and constraints.
- Interpret detailed construction drawings and verify scope and schedule submissions.
- Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submissions, review critical path, resource loading, and schedule content.
- Conduct schedule analyses, including Time Impact Analysis and schedule negotiations.
- Review drawings to determine scope and contract terms for time extensions.
- Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
- Monitor construction site progress and communicate with contractors.
- Perform regular schedule QA/QC reviews and status updates.
- Prepare reports as directed by management.
