Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a skilled technician to monitor and repair refrigeration, HVAC, EMS, and electrical systems across store facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document resolutions to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires overtime on weekends/holidays when on call, valid driver’s license, and EPA 608 Universal Certification. Strong communication and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years of refrigeration service experience in building trades.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overtime on weekends/holidays when on call.
• Perform daily mechanical checks in Mechanical Room, Roof, HVAC, EMS, and refrigerated spaces.
• Maintain refrigeration, HVAC, EMS, electrical and mechanical systems and perform repairs as needed.
• Document solutions and recommend further action.
• Operate EMS building controls and adjust sequences; monitor and fine-tune control settings.
• Order materials, write purchase orders, and document work reports.
