Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a maintenance technician to monitor refrigeration, HVAC, EMS systems and electrical/mechanical components. You will troubleshoot, repair, and document solutions while ensuring safety and efficiency across multiple store facilities.

The role requires at least three years of refrigeration service experience, EPA 608 certification, and a valid driver's license. Overtime on weekends and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational programs preferred.
• Minimum of three years' refrigeration service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to read manuals, prints, and work orders.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be willing to work overtime on weekends/holidays/on-call.

Responsibilities

• Oversee refrigeration and HVAC maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Make daily checks of mechanical equipment in the facility and keep records.
• Respond to service calls and coordinate with Area Refrigeration Manager.
• Maintain EMS building controls and document solutions.
• Keep a neat, safe work area and comply with safety standards.
• Monitor preventative maintenance and manage external contractors.
• Perform all duties in a timely, professional manner.
