Job summary

Dover Food Retail (AMS Division) is seeking a Senior Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems in supermarkets, convenience stores, and food-service locations.

You will respond to service calls, troubleshoot rack systems, self-contained cases, HVAC units, and VFDs, and ensure equipment operates correctly. Travel up to 50% and adherence to safety and paperwork requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of experience in supermarket refrigeration.
• EPA 608 Certification (Type I & II minimum; Universal preferred).
• Valid state-issued driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls as directed.
• Troubleshoot and repair rack systems, self-contained cases, HVAC units, and VFDs.
• Restore equipment to proper operating condition.
• Report follow-up needs to dispatch, leads, and managers.
• Participate in on-call rotation (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate with customers, technicians, and service staff.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork and packing slips daily.
• Maintain truck stock inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
