Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a Service Tech5- Refrigeration to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems for commercial/industrial clients. You will mentor junior technicians, ensure safe and reliable operation, and contribute to projects across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, and trade or technical school classes.
• Must have passed Tech Skills level5 with an 80% or better.
• Valid EPA certificate.
• 5+ years' experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical.
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Report to work in a timely manner as scheduled by supervisor.
• Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices and other similar machinery.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible corporate and personal records of work history.
• Provide general repair work on refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance activities; diagnose equipment malfunctions and operating efficiency.
• Perform work on minor construction and remodeling projects including startups of new installations.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
