Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a Service Tech 4 - Refrigeration to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems for commercial or industrial clients. You will work on compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices, ensuring safe and reliable operation across varied facilities.

The role requires 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/refrigeration, a high school diploma, an EPA certificate, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent training.
• Tech Skills level 4 with 80%+.
• Valid EPA certificate.
• 3–5 years in commercial HVAC, refrigeration and electrical.
• Experience with supermarket refrigeration a plus.
• Knowledge of rack systems, display cases and walk-in boxes.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul refrigeration and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and components.
• Provide preventative maintenance and diagnose efficiency issues.
• Guide junior technicians and document work history.
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures.
