Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a Service Tech 4 - Refrigeration to troubleshoot, maintain and repair refrigeration systems for commercial/industrial clients. You will handle complex issues, guide junior technicians, and ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment.

High school diploma or GED required, plus 3–5 years in HVAC/refrigeration and electrical work. The role offers competitive pay ($30–$40 per hour DOE), a sign-on bonus, paid training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; trade or technical schooling is acceptable.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration and electrical work.
• Experience with display cases, walk-in boxes, and rack systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time as scheduled by supervisor.
• Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers and control devices.
• Test malfunctioning systems using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible records of work history and service activities.
• Provide preventative maintenance and diagnose malfunctions in refrigeration equipment.
• Participate in startups of new installations and comply with safety policies.
