Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Senior Red Team Operator to plan and lead comprehensive red team engagements across cyber, physical, and social-engineering domains. You will develop testing methodologies, craft realistic attack scenarios, and drive improvements in detection and resilience with close collaboration to defensive teams.

You’ll work hands-on with attackers’ tradecraft, research new TTPs, and mentor junior operators while maintaining the highest technical standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on red team experience across cyber, physical and social engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one coding language.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Certifications like CRTO, OSCP / OSEP, CRTP or CREST welcome.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-scope Red Team engagements across cyber, physical and social domains.
• Shaping engagement scope, methodology, and reporting with continuous improvement.
• Design and deliver phishing and social engineering campaigns end to end.
• Operate and tune command and control frameworks through exploitation stages.
• Develop tooling and techniques to emulate threat actors and assess defenses.
• Translate engagements into actionable risk narratives for executives.
• Collaborate with defensive teams to improve detection and resilience.
• Mentor operators and contribute to team capability development.
