Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) seeks an experienced Senior Cyber Red Team Operator to strengthen the firm’s ability to detect, respond to, and withstand sophisticated cyber threats. You will simulate real-world adversaries through advanced red team operations across enterprise infrastructure, cloud, applications, and identity platforms.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of information security experience, with offensive security focus.
• Experience planning and executing enterprise-scale red team engagements.
• In-depth knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, privilege escalation, lateral movement, C2, persistence, and identity-based attacks.
• Hands-on testing of Windows, Linux, AD, cloud, networks, and applications.
• Scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
• Strong communication of complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or equivalent.
• Expertise in security assessment methodology, vulnerability management, OWASP, CVE ratings.
• Experience in Cyber Tabletop Exercises as SME for adversary behavior and TTPs.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement Red Team standards and ROE per regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments of identified vulnerabilities and write remediation reports.
• Lead and execute red team engagements across network, cloud, identity, endpoint, and applications.
• Simulate threat actor TTPs to validate vulnerabilities using controlled exploitation.
• Manage engagements from planning to final reporting and validation.
• Lead purple team exercises to validate controls and improve attacker visibility.
• Research emerging threats and evolving offensive security techniques.
• Deliver technical and executive risk reports.
• Mentor team members and contribute to Red Team methodologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive remediation and security effectiveness.
