Verizon is seeking a Distinguished Red Team Operator to join the Enterprise Red Team in the Cyber Security organization. You will lead red team campaigns, emulate adversaries, and develop offensive tooling while mentoring junior testers.

Expect cross-functional security initiatives and clear communication of risk to stakeholders. The role requires extensive offensive security experience, OS internals knowledge, and strong scripting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Eight or more years of relevant work experience required demonstrated through one or a combination of job-related work experience, military experience, or specialized training or education (non-collegiate).
• Six or more years of direct offensive security experience, specifically leading engagements in Adversary Emulation, Adversary Simulation, Threat Emulation or Threat Simulation.

Responsabilités

• Lead and execute full-spectrum Red Team engagements, encompassing adversary emulation, social engineering, and the development of techniques to evade EDR and other controls.
• Ingest and operationalize Cyber Threat Intelligence to create realistic, procedure-level emulation plans mapped to the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Architect, develop, and maintain custom offensive tooling, scripts, and methodologies to enhance the Red Team's operational scope and efficiency.
• Navigate complex operational environments, translating broad strategic goals into concrete execution plans with minimal oversight.
• Drive cross-functional security initiatives, setting operational principles and leading the execution of significant goals that impact multiple business areas.
