Job summary

Sterling Engineering is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter/Team Lead in Westchester, IL. You will oversee both your recruiting production and the day-to-day success of your team, partnering with Sales and Divisional Leadership to prioritize hiring and drive activity.

You will source, engage, screen, and recruit candidates; present qualified candidates to hiring managers; build strong candidate relationships and talent pipelines, and coach recruiters while leading team huddles and ensuring KPI

Responsibilities

• Source, engage, screen, and recruit qualified candidates using a variety of recruiting tools and strategies.
• Manage candidates throughout the recruiting process, from initial outreach through offer.
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
• Build and maintain strong candidate relationships and talent pipelines.
• Partner with Sales and Leadership to understand hiring priorities and execute recruiting strategies.
• Consistently meet or exceed individual KPI and production expectations.
• Lead team huddles and keep the team focused on priorities, KPIs, and delivery goals.
• Coach and mentor recruiters on sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and difficult-to-fill positions.
• Troubleshoot challenging job orders and help develop creative recruiting solutions.
• Monitor team activity and progress to ensure priority positions are receiving appropriate coverage.
• Support recruiting process consistency and accurate ATS activity.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Technical Recruiter/Team Lead, you will be responsible for both individual recruiting production and supporting the day-to-day success of your recruiting team. You will partner closely with Sales and Divisional Leadership to prioritize hiring needs, drive recruiting activity, and help the team consistently deliver qualified talent.

• Source, engage, screen, and recruit qualified candidates using a variety of recruiting tools and strategies
• Manage candidates throughout the recruiting process, from initial outreach through offer
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managers
• Build and maintain strong candidate relationships and talent pipelines
• Partner with Sales and Leadership to understand hiring priorities and execute recruiting strategies
• Consistently meet or exceed individual KPI and production expectations
• Help establish daily recruiting priorities with Sales and Divisional Leadership
• Lead team huddles and keep the team focused on priorities, KPIs, and delivery goals
• Coach and mentor recruiters on sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and difficult-to-fill positions
• Troubleshoot challenging job orders and help develop creative recruiting solutions
• Monitor team activity and progress to ensure priority positions are receiving appropriate coverage
• Support recruiting process consistency and accurate ATS activity
• Serve as a liaison between recruiters, Sales, and Leadership
• Lead by example through strong individual production, communication, and accountability
• Provide leadership with visibility into team progress, challenges, and support needed
