Job summary

PG&E is seeking an Expert Recruiter to own recruitment for the Journey Line Worker program and related classifications. This role manages high-volume requisitions, builds strong relationships with hiring leaders and candidates, and drives strategic sourcing in a regulated industry.

The position is hybrid, requires attendance at events in Livermore and in-person meetings at the Oakland HQ, and supports multiple PG&E locations to meet program needs.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 7 years of related recruiting experience.
• PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
• Data-driven approach with ability to pivot to meet metrics.
• Knowledge of union recruiting processes including bidding, contracts and testing.
• Ability to lead assigned recruiting projects and sourcing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Relationship management at senior levels to provide guidance and consultation.
• Lead development and management of recruiting strategies and action plans.
• Monitor progress and metrics of programs; implement creative solutions.
• Maintain accurate candidate and hiring data for audits.
• Partner with or lead project teams supporting programs.
• Determine when to engage external search firms and resources.
• Lead cross-functional projects across the recruiting function.
• Research industry best practices and advise management.
