Job summary

PG&E is seeking a Senior Labor Relations Specialist to provide strategic labor relations support for Union represented employees across the service territory. The role focuses on grievance administration, contract interpretation, and collaboration with union counterparts in a hybrid work model.

The candidate will support Negotiators during system-wide negotiations, train leaders on labor processes, and analyze data to inform labor strategies. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration or related discipline or equivalent work experience
• 4 years' experience in Labor Relations/Industrial Relations or related HR work experience
• MS or MA in Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, or Human Resources; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-SCP/CP

Responsibilities

• Grievance resolution: oversee the LIC process and prepare reports
• Lead LIC meetings and communicate outcomes
• Research and respond to grievances, including complex or sensitive cases
• Coordinate and prepare grievance materials and witnesses
• Negotiate grievance settlements at LIC step
• Support supervisors and shop stewards to resolve issues
• Perform contract interpretation and provide timely advice
• Lead special projects and deliver training on Labor Relations
