Job summary

The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is seeking a dedicated Senior Recovery Support Services professional to coordinate client care in a medically supervised inpatient detox/rehabilitation setting. You will guide RSS staff, monitor client activity, and ensure safety and compassionate support across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years human services experience.
• 1 year related work experience in SUD setting.
• Current New York State Driver’s License.
• CRPA-P, CASAC-T, CRPA, or NYS Security License.

Responsibilities

• Ensures RSS staff complete tasks on shift and provide guidance.
• Assists Director and RSS Coordinators with safety protocols and planning.
• Communicates personnel issues or concerns to supervisor.
• Provides supportive feedback and promotes teamwork.
• Performs duties and fills in as needed for RSS tasks.
• Monitors clients and provides trauma-informed redirection.
• Monitors safety concerns or incidents and reports them.
• Develops courteous customer service at safety desk posts.
• Ensures safety and well-being of clients, visitors, and staff.
• Supports evacuation drills and emergency codes.
