Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is seeking a Recovery Support Staff (RSS) to assist individuals in a NY State OASAS certified detox/rehab program. You will engage clients, monitor safety, and support daily routines including meals, activities, and discharge planning.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, teamwork, and adherence to regulations. Overnight and weekend shifts are included with a strong commitment to compassionate care.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year related work experience preferred.
• CRPA-P, CASAC-T, CRPA, or NY State Security License preferred.
• Familiar with DSP, BHT, Milieu Counselor in Mental Health.
• Capable of multitasking and independent judgment.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Professional appearance and conduct.

Responsabilidades

• Provide courteous and engaging customer service from safety desk or residential posts.
• Ensure safety and well-being of clients, visitors and personnel.
• Support evacuation drills and respond to safety codes.
• Accurately document incidents and shift reports.
• Monitor clients and assist with meals, medications, and activities.
• Escort clients to appointments and maintain clean, safe facilities.
• Maintain records and support teamwork and process improvements.

Educación

High school diploma or equivalent

One year related work experience

CRPA-P, CASAC-T, CRPA, or NY State Security License

Familiar with DSP, BHT, Milieu Counselor in Mental Health

Capable of multi-tasking and independent judgment

Excellent customer service and communication

Professional appearance and conduct
