Job summary

The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County in Middletown, NY, seeks a Recovery Support Staff to assist individuals with substance use disorders in a NY state certified program. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience preferred.
• CRPA-P, CASAC-T, CRPA, or NY Security License preferred.
• Familiar with DSP, BHT, Milieu Counselor in Mental Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and engaging customer service from safety desk or residential posts.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all clients, visitors, and personnel while providing professional service.
• Assist with evacuation drills and responses to safety and emergency codes.
• Ensure accurate incident reporting and appropriate response to significant events.
• Observe and monitor clients, providing trauma-informed redirection and support for program adherence.
